About

Albert is a division of the Netherlands-based Ahold Delihaize group, operating in the Czech Republic.
The company began trading in 1990. Today it operates the approximately 330 outlets.

The assignment was to create an updated concept for the Hypermarket format. The first store with the new concept
implemented opened in Brno in 2014. The store concept aims to communicate great quality and value for money.
The metaphore to achive this was to create a framework and product presentation inspired by the wholesale category.
Fresh vegetables on pallets directly from local producers, shipping containers for seasonal pop-up displays, big and
bold graphics for easy and clear navigation and use of a straightforward and honest material- and colour palette.
This combined creates an authentic fresh and value-for-money customer experience – wholesale for the people!
